At Manor Farm, we are a family firm based in Leasingham, Lincolnshire and have been supplying point-to-lay pullets since 1933. All our well known 18-week-old pullets are Ross Lohmann - the famous Brown Egg Layer - reared on our arable farm, which guarantees strong, healthy birds which are fully vaccinated.
Our own vans make frequent deliveries by road over all areas, ensuring that the birds arrive in first class condition with the minimum of upset and delay. Our birds are handled carefully and will quickly settle down. They have been fed on meal, they are not used to pellets so please make any changes gradually.
We specialise in looking after the smaller poultry keeper and are happy to deliver any number of birds from six to six hundred! Pullets tend to come into lay earlier in the spring and later in the autumn but whatever time of the year they are purchased they will give a profitable year's lay with roughly the same amount of eggs.
